Step into the world of heritage artistry with the Shantiniketan Alpana Bamboo Necklace Set by Moner Moto. Each piece is skillfully handcrafted on sustainable bamboo canvases, delicately painted in earthy tones and tribal motifs that echo rural Bengal’s spiritual aesthetics. What Makes Sudhiranjan Mukhopadhyay’s Alpana Special?
Sudhiranjan Mukhopadhyay was a pioneer in visualising Tagore’s Sahajpath through evocative alpanas (folk floor art). His minimalist black-and-white motifs were deeply inspired by Santhal tribal forms, everyday life, and nature. These artworks embody fluidity, symbolism, and spirituality—preserved today in select Shantiniketan homes and museums. This necklace pays homage to his contribution to modern Indian art.
